Disappointment into His-appointment!

An elderly person, who was known to be very joyful and optimistic in life, was once asked by his little nephew: “Uncle, what is the secret of your happiness?
Don’t you ever have disappointments?”

The uncle looked at the little lad and responded:
“Child… life has taught me to trust in God above all, and know that His Hand is there with me, at all times.

When Disappointment comes to me, all that I do is: Change a letter!

The ‘D’ in Disappointment has to be made ‘H’
>> Thus, every Disappointment, becomes HIS-Appointment!
>> And I experience His Providence with me, always!”

That’s truly beautiful, isn’t it?

Are we ready to change the ‘Disappointments’ in our life to ‘Hisappointments’…
… Appointments with the Lord?”

Every person in the world faces moments of disappointments and darkness.
>> Some of us get encompassed by it.
>> Some of us get dejected by it.

The Gospel of Day presents a blind man, who faced immense darkness, but did not allow to get encompassed or dejected by it…
.. rather changed, the Disappointment into His-appointment!

ANYTHING FOR ETERNAL LOVE

During the dark days of the Second World War, two sisters, Corrie and Betsie ten Boom…
… were thrown into the Nazi concentration camp of Ravensbrück.
>> Their crime?
Hiding Jews in their home….
… for love of Christ.

Their barracks were overcrowded…
… and crawling with fleas.
>> The stench was unbearable.
>> The pain unending.

Corrie broke down in tears:
>> “Betsie, how can we live like this?”

And her sister, with eyes of faith, whispered:
>> “Corrie, our faith teaches us to “give thanks in all circumstances. Even for these fleas!”

Corrie thought it was madness.
>> Thank God for fleas?
But she obeyed.

Together, they began to pray and give thanks…
… even for the pests that tormented them.

Weeks later, they discovered something incredible: Because of those fleas, the guards refused to enter their barracks.
>> And that meant…
… they were free to live their faith, with prayer and reading the Bible
… they could even share the Love of Christ to people around them.

ஆண்டவரே! என்றென்றைக்கும் உள்ளது உமது வாக்கு; விண்ணுலகைப் போல் அது நிலைத்துள்ளது.
தலைமுறை தலைமுறையாய் உள்ளது உமது வாக்குப் பிறழாமை; நீர் பூவுலகை உறுதியாய் இருக்கச் செய்தீர், அது நிலைபெற்றுள்ளது. உம் ஒழுங்குமுறைகளின்படியே அனைத்தும் இன்றுவரை நிலைத்துள்ளன; ஏனெனில், அவை உமக்கு ஊழியம் செய்கின்றன. உம் சொற்களைப் பற்றிய விளக்கம் ஒளி தருகின்றது; அது பேதைகளுக்கு நுண்ணறிவு ஊட்டுகிறது. உம் ஊழியன்மீது உமது முக ஒளி வீசச் செய்யும்! உம் விதிமுறைகளை எனக்குக் கற்பித்தருளும்.

🛐 ஜெபம் 🛐

என்றும் வாழும் எங்கள் தந்தையே! இந்த அதிகாலை வேளையில் உம்மைப் போற்றுகிறேன். நன்றி கூறுகிறேன். நேற்றைய நாள் முழுவதும் என்னைக் காத்து வழிநடத்திய உம் கிருபைக்காக நன்றி.

தந்தையே உமது திருவுளம் விண்ணுலகில் நிறைவேறுவது போல மண்ணுலகிலும் நிறைவேறுக.

இறைவா, எங்கே பகைமை நிறைந்துள்ளதோ அங்கே அன்பையும், எங்கே கயமை நிறைந்துள்ளதோ அங்கே மன்னிப்பையும் விதைத்திட அருள்புரியும். இதனால் இயேசுவே ! நீர் விதைத்த இறையாட்சி இப்பூவுலகெங்கும் செழித்து வளர்தோங்குக.
உமது இறையாட்சியில் நாங்கள் பங்கு கொள்ளும் பேற்றினை அளித்தமைக்கு நன்றி.

மீட்பின் தேவனே! இன்று விஷேசமாக, வாழ்ந்து மரித்த எங்கள் வாழ்வின் சிற்பிகளான எங்கள் ஆசிரியர்கள், ஞான வழிகாட்டிகள் ஆகியோரின் நித்திய இளைபாற்றிக்காக மன்றாடுகிறேன்.

இறைவா, இந்த நாளை உமது பெயரால் துவக்குகின்றேன். நான் துவங்கும் காரியங்கள் அனைத்திலும் வெற்றியைத் தந்தருளும்.

இயேசு, மரி, சூசை என் இருதயத்தையும், ஆத்துமத்தையும் உங்களுக்கு ஒப்படைக்கின்றேன்.

“Process of filtration”

Filtration is a process by which any material is passed through a certain device to remove unwanted elements in it.
>> Filtration happens every day around the world.
It occurs both in nature and in engineered systems.

For example…
… in many living bodies (including humans), renal filtration removes wastes from the blood
… in water treatment and sewage treatment, undesirable elements are removed by absorption into a filter medium

Every filtration has three basic components:
>> The Feed: The original material with the presence of unwanted elements
>> The Filter: The mechanism/device that does the cleansing
>> The Filtrate: The matter that comes after the process

Our Life as a Christian is also a “process of filtration”

And has three components as well
>> The Feed: Our lives – with our own weaknesses and sinful tendencies
>> The Filter: Jesus, the Crucified Lord – Who Cleanses us
>> The Filtrate: Our life as a Disciple of Christ – lived in holiness and with a sense of mission

Are we willing to allow the “FEED” of our lives to encounter the “FILTER”…
… so that we can emerge as pure and holy “FILTRATE?”

தொண்டனாகவே இருந்து தொலைந்து போகாதே, தகுதிகளை வளர்த்து, நல்ல தலைவனாக முயற்சி செய்!

கிளறாத சோறு வேகாது, சீவாத தலை படியாது, துவைக்காத துணி வெளுக்காது, இவற்றை போல் தான், விளக்காத உண்மை வீணாகி போகும்!!

நீ அறிந்த உண்மைகளை, உரிய நேரத்தில், விளக்கிச் சொல்லாத காரணத்தினால்தான், அநியாயக்காரர்கள் அரியாசனத்தில், ஒட்டிக்கொண்டிருக்க முடிகிறது!!!

இரவு செபம்

வல்லமை நிறைந்த ஆண்டவரே! இன்று முழுவதும் என்னை பாதுகாத்து, வழி நடத்திய உமது மேலான ஆசீருக்காக நன்றி செலுத்துகின்றேன்.

இன்று நான் எண்ணிய எண்ணங்கள், தேவைகள், செயல்திட்டங்கள், செய்து முடித்த பணிகள் அனைத்தையும், உம் பாதத்தில் சமர்ப்பித்து நன்றி கூறுகின்றேன்.

இன்று நான் யாருடைய மனதையாவது புண்படும்படியாக நடந்து இருந்தால், அதற்காக மன்னிப்பு கேட்கின்றேன். உமது அருளினால் தான், நான் இன்று பல்வேறு காரியங்களை செய்ய முடிந்தது.

இன்று எனக்கு நீர் தந்த உணவு, உடை, பாதுகாப்பு அனைத்திற்கும் நன்றி கூறுகின்றேன்.

இந்த இரவில், தீய எண்ணங்கள், கெட்ட கனவுகள் என் மனதில் தோன்றாமல், எம்மை ஆசீர்வதியும்.

எமக்கு அமைதியான தூக்கம் தந்து, அதன் மூலம் நல்ல ஓய்வை கொடுத்து, நாளை புத்துணர்வோடு எழுந்து, என் பணிகளை தொடர வரம் தாரும். ஆமென்.

“LORD, JUST FOR YOU!”

A youngster who was very desperate in life – contemplating even of terminating his life – exasperated and lost…
… was passing along the streets, when he heard the Church bells ringing for the Angelus at noontime.
>> Something in him, made him go inside the Church.

As he went in, he saw a large statue of Jesus…
… with the Sacred Heart of Jesus prominently displayed
>> And underneath the statue were written words…
… beautiful words that would bring him much consolation, hope and joy

So much so, that he would take a resolution to amend his life and to live with greater hope and joy!

The words were as follows:
“As you look into My Heart… remember always, these words…
>> There is an Eye that never sleeps, even beneath the wing of night
… just for you!
>> There is a Ear that never shuts, even when sink the beams of light
… just for you!
>> There is an Arm that never tires, even when human strength gives way
… just for you!
>> There is a Love that never fails, even when earthly loves decay
… just for you!
>> And…
… there is a Heart that never stops beating, even when trials of life lash you hard
… just for you!

This Heart of Mine… is just for you!
Can you also give me your life…?
… and tell me, “LORD, JUST FOR YOU!”

இன்று ஒரு சிந்தனை! *

நாமும் இந்த குடையும் ஒன்றல்ல; தேவை என்றால் தூக்கிப் பிடிக்கவும், தேவையில்லை என்றால் ஓரமாக ஒதுக்கி வைக்கவும்! நாம் உணர்வுள்ள மனிதர்கள்.

வாழ்க்கையில் நிகழ்ந்ததை மறுக்கவம் முடியாது, நிகழ்வதை தடுக்கவும் முடீயாது, நிகழப்போவதை நிறுத்தவும் முடீயாது. இவை அனைத்தையும் நம்மால் கடந்து போக மட்டுமே முடீயும்.

மாற்றம் இல்லாமல், முன்னேற்றம் சாத்தியமில்லை, எண்ணங்களை மாற்றிக் கொள்ள முடியாதவர்களால், வேறு எதையும் மாற்ற முடியாது!

மன அழுத்தங்களை போக்க, எப்போதும் தனிமையை தேடாதே, பிடித்தவர்களிடம் மனம் விட்டு பேசு, அல்லது பிடித்த எதையாவது செய்!!

வாழ்க்கையில் என்ன நடந்தாலும், உடைந்து போகாதே, உன்னை உடைப்பதற்கு ஒரு தருணம் உண்டு என்றால், உன்னை உருவாக்குவதற்கும் பல தருணங்கள் காத்திருக்கும்!!!
