• When someone upsets you, pause before replying.
• When someone does something nice for you, pause and be truly thankful.
• When you’ve had a bad day, pause and be glad for the little things that did go right.
• Pause before you judge, accuse, or assume things.
• Pause before a stressful situation that stirs your emotions.
Practice the pause:
take as much time as needed to assess,
reflect and control your actions and emotions before saying and doing things that are reactive and impulsive which can lead to unnecessary regrets.
Because by passing a while
your anger diminish
you become cool
you know your limit
you manage to handle
Pause, pause and pause.
