MORNING PRAYER

காலை ஜெபம்

திருப்பாடல் : 19

வானங்கள் இறைவனின் மாட்சிமையை வெளிப்படுத்துகின்றன; வான்வெளி அவர்தம் கைகளின் வேலைப்பாட்டை விவரிக்கின்றது.
ஒவ்வொரு பகலும் அடுத்த பகலுக்கு அச்செய்தியை அறிவிக்கின்றது; ஒவ்வோர் இரவும் அடுத்த இரவுக்கு அதைப் பற்றிய அறிவை வழங்குகின்றது. அவற்றிற்குச் சொல்லுமில்லை, பேச்சுமில்லை; அவற்றின் குரல் செவியில் படுவதுமில்லை. ஆயினும், அவற்றின் அறிக்கை உலகெங்கும் சென்றடைகின்றது; அவை கூறும் செய்தி உலகின் கடையெல்லை வரை எட்டுகின்றது, இறைவன் அங்கே கதிரவனுக்கு ஒரு கூடாரம் அமைத்துள்ளார்.

🛐 ஜெபம் 🛐

அப்பா, தந்தையே! அன்பும், கருணையும், இரக்கமும் நிறைந்த எங்கள் பரலோக பிதாவே! இந்த புதிய நாளின் அதிகாலை வேளையில் உம்மை வணங்குகிறோம். வாழ்த்துகிறோம். ஆராதிக்கின்றோம். நன்றி செலுத்துகின்றோம். 🙏

இன்றைய நாளில் உமது திருச்சட்டத்திலிருந்து நாங்கள் விலகாதிருக்க அருள் புரியும்.

இயேசுவே! உமது பன்னிரு சீடர்களை தேர்ந்தெடுக்கும் முன் இரவெல்லாம் இறை வேண்டலில் நீர் கழித்தீரே! எங்கள் வாழ்வில் இனி நாங்கள் செய்யும் முக்கிய செயல்களுக்கு முன் இறைவேண்டல் செய்து, உமது திருவுளத்தை அறியக் கூடிய ஞானத்தை எங்களுக்குக் கொடையாக கொடுத்தருளும். இது நாள்வரை இறைவேண்டல் செய்யாது துவக்கிய பல காரியங்களுக்காக நாங்கள் மனம் வருந்தி மன்னிப்பு கேட்கிறோம். அக்காரியங்களில் பெரும்பாலும் உமது விருப்பமின்றி எங்களது சுய விருப்பமே மேலோங்கி இருந்ததால் அவைகளில் குழப்பங்களும், தடைகளும், அவமானங்களும் மிகுந்திருந்தன.

எங்கள் இனிய இயேசுவே !, இனி வரும் காலங்களில் எங்களது வாழ்வில் நிகழும் அனைத்தும் உமது விருப்பமே. எங்களது விருப்பமன்று.

இறைவா, இந்த புதிய நாளை உமது பெயரால் துவக்குகின்றோம். தூய ஆவியின் துணை கொண்டு எங்களைக் காத்து வழி நடத்தியருளும். எங்கள் இறுதி மூச்சு வரை உம் பிள்ளைகளாக, உம் அன்பில் என்றும் நிலைத்திருக்க வரம் தாரும்.

இயேசு, மரி, சூசை என் இருதயத்தையும், ஆத்துமத்தையும் உங்களுக்கு ஒப்படைக்கின்றேன்.

என் பாறையாகிய ஆண்டவர் போற்றி!போற்றி! போரிட என் கைகளுக்குப் பயிற்சி அளிப்பவர் அவரே!போர்புரிய என் விரல்களைப் பழக்குபவரும் அவரே.! என் கற்பாறையும் கோட்டையும் அவரே! எனக்குப் பாதுகாப்பாளரும் மீட்பரும் அவரே! என் கேடயமும் புகலிடமும் அவரே! மக்களினத்தாரை எனக்குக் கீழ்ப்படுத்துபவர் அவரே. இறைவா, நான் உமக்குப் புதியதொரு பாடல் பாடுவேன்; பதின் நரம்பு வீணையால் உமக்குப் புகழ் பாடுவேன். அரசர்களுக்கு வெற்றி அளிப்பவர் நீரே! உம் ஊழியர் தாவீதைக் கொடிய வாளினின்று தப்புவித்தவரும் நீரே.

🛐 ஜெபம் 🛐

அகில உலகையும், அண்ட சராசரங்களையும் படைத்த எல்லாம் வல்ல எம் இறைவா! இந்த அதிகாலை வேளையில் உம்மை போற்றுகிறேன். புகழ்கிறேன். நன்றி கூறுகிறேன்.

இறைவா, அலகையின் சூழ்ச்சிகளிலும், அதன் தந்திரங்களிலும் சிக்கித் துன்புறுவோருக்காக இன்று விஷேசமாக செபிக்கிறேன்.

ஆண்டவரே! உலகில் நடக்கும் எல்லாத் தீமைகளுக்கும், பாவ காரியங்களுக்கும் காரணமான அலகையை எதிர்த்து நிற்க எங்களுக்கு நிறைந்த வல்லமையைத் தந்தருளும்.

நீதியை மார்புக் கவசமாகவும், உண்மையை இடைக் கச்சையாகவும், நம்பிக்கையை கேடயமாகவும், மீட்பை தலை சீராகவும், உமது இறைவார்த்தையை தூய ஆவி அருளும் போர் வாளாகவும் கொண்ட படைக்கலன்களை நாங்கள் அணிந்து கொண்டு அலகைக்கு எதிரான போரில் நாங்கள் துணிவுடனும், வல்லமையுடனும் போராட எங்களுக்குத் துணை புரிவீராக.

எங்கள் கற்பாறையும், கோட்டையுமான ஆண்டவரே நீரே எங்களுக்குத் துணை. எங்களுக்கு பாதுகாப்பாளரும், மீட்பருமான நீரே எங்கள் அரண்.

இறைவா, இந்த நாளை உமது பெயரால் துவக்குகின்றேன். ஆசீர்வதித்து வழிநடத்துவீராக.

இயேசு, மரி, சூசை என் இருதயத்தையும், ஆத்துமத்தையும் உங்களுக்கு ஒப்படைக்கின்றேன்.

MORNING PRAYER

Dear Lord, answer me; your steadfast love is great; look on me with favor. Do not hide your face from me; I am in distress, answer me quickly. Come near and rescue me; redeem me from my enemies.

You know my shame, my disgrace, and my humiliation; my adversaries are all before you. Insults have broken my heart, and I am in despair; I looked for sympathy, but there was none; for comforters, but I found none.

God of mercy, bless me as I speak with you this morning. Console me with your boundless love; your feet are my throne, your word is my breath. Your mercy is immense, beyond measure; pour your compassion on me, and let me drown in your ocean of kindness.

When I stray from your love, darkness falls; when I turn away from your gaze, suffering ensues. Lord, remember me and look upon me with kindness.

Father, you know the trials your children face; you are our sole protector. Without you, I couldn’t live a single moment; have mercy on us.

Beloved, embodiment of love, my God, be with me daily, guiding and protecting me in every situation. Thank you, Lord.

Jesus, Mary, Joseph, I entrust my heart and soul to you. Amen. ¹

காலை ஜெபம்

ஆண்டவரே, உமது பேரன்பை எங்களுக்குக் காட்டியருளும்; உமது மீட்பையும் எங்களுக்குத் தந்தருளும்.

ஆண்டவராம் இறைவன் உரைப்பதைக் கேட்பேன்; தம் மக்களுக்கு, தம் பற்றுமிகு அடியார்க்கு நிறைவாழ்வை அவர் வாக்களிக்கின்றார்; அவர்களோ மடமைக்குத் திரும்பிச் செல்லலாகாது.

அவருக்கு அஞ்சி நடப்போர்க்கு அவரது மீட்பு அண்மையில் உள்ளது என்பது உறுதி; நம் நாட்டில் அவரது மாட்சி குடிகொள்ளும்.

பேரன்பும் உண்மையும் ஒன்றையொன்று சந்திக்கும்; நீதியும் நிறைவாழ்வும் ஒன்றையொன்று முத்தமிடும்.

மண்ணினின்று உண்மை முளைத்தெழும்; விண்ணினின்று நீதி கீழ்நோக்கும்.

நல்லதையே ஆண்டவர் அருள்வார்; நல்விளைவை நம்நாடு நல்கும்.

நீதி அவர்முன் செல்லும்; அவர்தம் அடிச்சுவடுகளுக்கு வழி வகுக்கும்.

எங்களை படைத்து, காத்து, பராமரித்து வரும் விண்ணக இறைவா! இதோ இந்த காலை நேரத்தில், உம்மை போற்றி புகழ்கின்றோம் அப்பா.

ஆண்டவரே! இன்று இன்னொரு புதிய நாளை எனக்கு கொடுத்ததற்காக, உமக்கு நன்றி கூறுகின்றேன். இந்த புதிய நாளில், நான் சந்திக்கும் ஒரு சிலரிடமாவது உமது அன்பை எடுத்துக்கூற, எனக்கு துணிவையும் அருளையும் தாரும் அப்பா.

விண்ணக தந்தையே! உம்மை பின்பற்றி பயணம் செய்யும் உமது பிள்ளைகள் ஒவ்வொருவரும், தனது இலக்கை அடைவதற்கு நீர்தாமே உதவி செய்யும். திருச்சபையில் உள்ள அருட் பணியாளர்கள், இறைபணிக்காக எடுக்கும் புதிய முயற்சிகள் அனைத்தும் வெற்றி பெற துணைபுரியும்.

உமது ஆசீரோடு தொடங்கும் இந்த நாள், எனக்கு வெற்றியை தரும் நாளாக அமையட்டும். பகைமை உணர்வுடன் யாரிடமும் உறவாடாமல், கனிந்த உள்ளத்துடன் நடந்துகொள்ள அருள் தாரும்.

போலி இல்லாத அன்பை விதைக்கவும், துவண்ட உள்ளத்திற்கு திடன் அளிக்கவும் எனக்கு அருள் தாரும் அப்பா. இவ்வாறு உமது இறையரசை, இப்புவியில் நான் வெளிபடுத்த எனக்கு துணை புரியும்.

இயேசு மரியே சூசையே! என் இருதயத்தையும், ஆத்துமத்தையும் உங்களுக்கு ஒப்படைக்கின்றேன். ஆமென்.

​Protect me, O God, for in you I take refuge.
I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord; apart from you I have no good thing.”
​Lord, you alone are my portion and my cup;
you make my lot secure.
I will praise the Lord, who counsels me;
even at night my heart instructs me.
I keep my eyes always on the Lord.
With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.
You make known to me the path of life;
you will fill me with joy in your presence,
with eternal pleasures at your right hand.

​Prayer
​Ever-living Father, our God! You have given us another new day and another new opportunity to repent. Thank you, God! 🙏
​Jesus, you said, “First, remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s or sister’s eye.”
​When we find fault in others and point out their flaws, we forget about the plank in our own eye. Please forgive us.
​Jesus, I begin this day in your name. Bless and guide me. I surrender all the events of this day, both good and bad, to your immaculate Sacred Heart.
​Jesus, Mary, Joseph, I surrender my heart and soul to you.
​Amen. †

Morning prayer
God of creation, how great you are! You are the Creator of the universe and all therein. You are the Giver and Sustainer of all life, and only you are worthy to be praised.

Many, however, live in conditions that make it difficult and impossible to enjoy the beauty of your creation. Help me to be sensitive and responsive to their needs and may their prayers reach the throne room of grace.

Have your way with me, most high God, and help me to experience your creation in new and profound ways. May these experiences teach me of your abiding presence and sustainment in my life. May I enter this day with a renewed heart, a right spirit and may your Spirit touch my mouth that no profane words may come from my lips. In your name I pray: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

MORNING PRAYER

Disturb us, Lord, when
We are too well pleased with ourselves,
When our dreams have come true
Because we have dreamed too little,
When we arrived safely
Because we sailed too close to the shore.

Disturb us, Lord, when
With the abundance of things we possess
We have lost our thirst
For the waters of life;
Having fallen in love with life,
We have ceased to dream of eternity
And in our efforts to build a new earth,
We have allowed our vision
Of the new Heaven to dim.

Disturb us, Lord, to dare more boldly,
To venture on wider seas
Where storms will show your mastery;
Where losing sight of land,
We shall find the stars.

We ask You to push back
The horizons of our hopes;
And to push into the future
In strength, courage, hope, and love.

Morning prayer
God of wisdom, in the stillness of this new day, I pause to discern your way among competing claims for my allegiance and my time. Only you are true, only you are deserving of my devotion because you are the only God who can give life. Help me to remember this as my allegiance to you is tested through the events of this day.

Guide my steps in seeking the well-being of others. Show me what it means to be a righteous person, a follower of your ways. Give me strength and discernment to follow You as I should and live according to your truth and ways. In the matchless name of Jesus I pray.

Morning prayer
Comforting God, my breath for this day is yours. My life for this day is yours. All that I have and all that I am I offer to you.

You draw me near you and I am comforted and strengthened. Gracious God, these days are challenged by instant gratification and temporary answers. These seductions grip us. I call to you to save our spirits from webs of self-indulgence as well as self-deprivation and remit them to your ready hand of care. As the dawn of this hour wakes some to loss and others to hopefulness, give us confidence to trust you. Remind us that we never walk alone.

Loving God, I enter this morning with praise on my lips for I know that this day is a divine gift from you. I ask that you open the eyes of my heart that I might discern the movement of your Spirit and live a life of faithfulness.

Help me to remember that I am your ambassador in this earthly journey. As such, may the world see you through me as my life gives witness to the Author and Giver of all life. Through this day, may I love you more fully and may I sow seeds of love, mercy, and grace that will draw my neighbor to you. Bless my day and give me the strength to hold steady in my resolve to be your disciple in this world. In the matchless name of Jesus I pray.
