Short story-Meet your boss.

                                                       WHO IS YOUR BOSS?

One day a sage was
sitting under a mango tree for contemplation. He wanted to be in solitude as
he was known by everyone, a sage who spent maximum time in contemplation. He
had his holy book with him. He believed that nothing could disturb him, all the more the holy
book will protect him from all sorts of distractions.
                          While he was
contemplating, his mind was diverted. He couldn’t continue as his attention went
towards the monkey which was busy eating mangoes. Monkey was happily jumping
here and there. It never bothered about the sage. But the sage couldn’t
continue. After a while he started complaining and cursing the monkey. He slept off
with the bad mood.
                           His inner voice
started speaking to him, my dear friend, monkey never trained itself to
neither contemplate nor to be in solitude. It never tried to read the holy
book. In fact it never bothered about you.
                           Not that monkey, was
jumping here and there but your mind. Focus of monkey was not on you but you focused on it.
Monkey’s desire was to grab the mangoes as much as possible and you were not
determined.

Dear friends let us shed out the idea of seeking good name from others. Try to be good to ourselves. Let us stop complaining about others for our failures. Try to be sincere in our attempt. Let us give up the attitude of going away from our dreams. Try to focus on it.

Your mind is the boss of your thoughts.
Your mind is the boss of your behaviour.
Train your mind  to be your facilitator not to be your boss.
