Scene I:
                          [ People are gathered in the church.] Priest:    Dear friends, as we are gathered to discuss about the Christmas preparation, here I come                        with  an idea of making our celebration meaningfully and fruitfully.
Audience:    Please tell us father.
Priest:     Let us make it as an event than celebration. Before we get into this preparation let us join in                 this carol singing.

                                            A CAROL SONG IS SUNG

Priest:  Dear friends, the theme for this Christmas is “JOY TO THE WORLD”
                                                                                                                                                              Audience:Wow! That’s a great idea. Tell us father how to proceed with?
Priest:  You all can prepare yourself in an unique way with the theme of joy to the world. You must                come and share your experience. The winner will get a chance to hold baby Jesus on your                     hand leading the group  in procession. And the winner will be the Ms/Mr. Christmas.
Crowd: Yes….yes….yes.

Scene II:
                     [ Priest and the group are busy in decoration ] Priest:                   Hurry up. Let us get ready.
From the group:    Yeah, it’s time for the declaration of Mr/Ms.Christmas.
Priest:                   Dear friends are you all ready?
Group:                 Yes, we are ready.
Priest:                 Before we could share our experiences let us watch a dance prepared by our friends.                              Welcome them with a thunder of applause.

                       A  DANCE BASED ON CHRISTMAS IS PERFORMED

Anita:    Good evening dear father and my dear friends. I’m so delighted to stand in front of you all.
              As I had decided to win the title, I thought of helping children. I spent from  my pocket                           money and bought balloons. Children in my locality were so happy.
                      [  applause ]                Here are those children to whom I helped. [ those children come forward]

Roshan: Good evening dear father and my dear friends. I’m also so happy to let you know about my
              experience. I had decided to buy crackers and distribute to my friends. From my pocket
              money, I bought. They all really enjoyed a lot. They too expressed their thanks and they are
              here with me. [ those children come on the stage]                       [ applause ]

Rahul:    Good evening father and my dear friends. I’ m so delighted to speak to you all. I helped my
               friends to make the crib. I not only helped to make nice cribs in their home but also in my
               street we made such a huge crib.
                      [ applause ]                 [ his friends come forward]

Andrea:    Good evening father and my dear friends. I’m also happy to express the way I practiced
                   joy to the world. I helped my friends to sing carols. They all had very good time in                                singing together.
                       [ applause] friends come with their musical instruments.

Priest:          Congratulations. Give them all a big round of applause.  Result will be declared shortly.

Scene III:


Priest:           I’m overwhelmed to know your participation [some one interrupts] Audience I : We the elders of the church are here to extent our thanks for all the efforts you                                           have taken. Each and everyone put their efforts to make this Christmas as an                                        event.  Here  we have a candidate who really deserves our attention.
Audience II:  Yes, we were taken up by his marvelous service. Being so young in his age he
                         gave his full energy and support to bring joy amidst us.
Priest:               Please welcome our beloved student Suresh who studies in class X.
Audience I:     Suresh visited our colony in the evening to help our children in their studies. He
                         literally taught them Mathematics so that they can understand well.
                         [ children come and express their thanks] Audience II:   With the help of  Suresh  my son is attending class regularly. He takes special effort to                               motivate my son. I’m so grateful to him.
Audience III:   Yes, with his encouragement our children visit the patients in the hospital after                                        attending church. They talk to them and assist them in their needs. We are very much                             delighted.
Audience IV:   Suresh and his friends are contributing some money by sacrificing their personal                                  parties  and collecting money from others too. They visited the nearby orphanage and                            helped  them. We are so proud of our children.
Priest:             Suresh and his friends came yesterday to clean our church campus. They had                                         volunteered to do the same on the eve of Christmas.

Scene IV:     

Priest:            Put your hands together to welcome our beloved student Suresh.
Suresh:           Dear father and friends I’m so glad to receive your blessings. Thank you everyone.
Audience I:    Please share with us the driving force which pulled or pushed you to live for others.
Suresh:           I’m blessed by God to have a beautiful surroundings  of parents and teachers. Their                                 exemplary life always challenges and inspires  me. As father declared  the innovative                          theme of  this Christmas I just want to give a trial.  But today I’m overwhelmed.                                     Thank  you  everyone.
Priest:              Here we come to the end and climax of this day. We are very proud to declare the                                   winner. Any guess?
Anita, Roshan: Suresh deserves it. He is the right person.
Rahul, Andrea: Yes father Suresh should be awarded with the title.
Audiences:         Yes, Suresh deserves the title.
Priest:               Let us welcome our Santa clause to declare the title winner.
Santa clause:     [Jingle bell dance goes on]

                        The winner is Suresh. Suresh comes on the stage and joins with Santa clause in                                                                    dancing.

Anchor:           Dear friends let us pledge to bring joy to the world. We bring joy in our classroom by                          being sensitive to the need of our friends and classmate. We bring joy to our parents                            by being obedient to them. Because charity begins at home. We bring joy to our                                     neighbour by being attentive to their voice.. We bring joy to our nation by being                                  faithful to its duties. Sacrifice a little and bring  great joy in the midst of people with                            whom you  live in and interact.

                                          Every Christmas arrives with an innovative invitation. It invites us to celebrate the birthday of our beloved Jesus in a trustworthy manner. We are really glad to part take in this beautiful celebration. As we enter into this second week of advent may we take the pleasure of dispelling darkness from within. God the cheerful giver of life and love, we love you for your abundant blessings upon us. Thank you for creating us in a marvelous way. Your presence is our pleasure and your love is our treasure. With hearts full of joy and happiness we praise you through this Bhajan.
                                    

                                          Advent is the time of receiving graces more and more. Jesus is the light of the world. He brought light and invite us to live in light. When Jesus is with us we have no reason to live in darkness. He gives the assurance of hope, the hope of new life. He promises the beautiful gift of hope, the hope of transformed life. He unfolds the heavenly hope, the hope of eternal bliss. He reveals the unchanging hope, the hope of radical changes. With this hope we started the advent season.

                                          When we are in the light, we have more reason to live. When we are with the light we have every reason to be happy. When we are for the light we have many reasons to serve our Lord. Joining with our mother church and with every member who entered into this gracious season of advent let us light up the second candle, the candle which symbolizes love, which radiates love and which transmits love.

Hymn:

                                          Psalm122  Let us take turn to recite this psalm. Let our response be I rejoiced when I heard them say: ‘Let us go to God’s house”. We shall pass for a while in cherishing the beauty of God’s house.
                                        ‘ Love I give you and you build a world of love’ is the spiritual message of this second week of advent. May love be the mother of all our interactions. May love be the friend in all the situations. May love be the companion when we step into a new venture. May love be the part taker in our undertakings. May love be the lover of us all. With our hearts full of love let us join in this hymn.

                                         God our solace and comfort we entrust our entire being to your loving care and protection. Travel along with us as we prepare ourselves for your sons birthday. En kindle us when our hearts are in trouble. Above all allow us not to be astrayed from your divine protection.                                           Hold on before you let out your emotion. Wait a minute because it is going to create a healthy atmosphere.

                                          Just hold on. God is preparing you for something great.

                                            People do worry about ups and downs in their life journey. Some are really tensed to face challenges. Please do remember that those ups and downs made you enlightened. You discovered a new lesson and you understood the another phase of life.

                                            Of course our worries and confusions are just like the holes and emptiness of the flute. If you, yes if you work on it you will perform miracles. Rely on your inner strength and will power.
                                            Lessons written in the book of your life are not new to you. But this day is brand new for you.
                                                Create your magical melody today.

                                                                 LOVE YOURSELF

                                      Love makes everything perfect and creative. It enables you to see everything positively. It values every effort taken and offered. It acts on a right time. It brings good people around you. It makes everything possible.

                                      Holding love on our eyes let us see the world today.
                                      Carrying love on our hearts let us feel the world.
                                     
                                    This love will enhance us to enjoy the best things in our life. Strive to look beyond our dreams. Love yourself is the aim of my life today.
                                        
                                       

                             
                                 What is the purpose of your life? Whatever may be your answer believe that yours is the best reply. Because you answered from within. You neither copied nor imitated. You need to just strengthen your passion. When your passion is strong enough nothing yes, nothing will stop you.

                                                       HAPPENS FOR THE BEST

                                  Once an old student wanted to meet his class teacher. When he met the teacher, asked him, sir do you recognize me? Replied sir, I’m sorry, I don’t recognize you. Sir, you taught me when I was in class eight. You were not only my teacher but  my inspiration for ever.
                                 Sir, I was not at all ease with your subject. I developed an ill feeling towards the subject which made me to hate you. My aversion was to that level, I started to trouble you. As I wanted to see you upset, I decided to steal the lunch box of my classmates. I was truly successful in stealing regularly but not in irritating you. You were so kind to the students who lost their lunch box and helped to get meals. I kept on continuing but you had never been disturbed.
                                  To my great surprise I happened to see you one day at  bus stop after the school hour. You stood for a long time not for the bus but due to no money in your hand. I cried very bitterly.
                                  Sir, why didn’t you try to punish me?  Did you ever get annoy with your students?

                                  My dear son, I have a great regard for my life on this earth and I believe each and everyday I learn a lot. I do learn not simply from books but from every echo of my inner voice. I trust my students and I relate with them patiently that I don’t miss learning. I handle everyone with care that their hearts are not broken. As I never give chance to myself to be irritated, people around me stop harming and in fact they start transforming themselves. Because I believe
                   
                                               whatever happens is for the best

    
                                     Our life is a masterpiece of divine beauty. It is designed in an unique way. But we all are planted on this same earth. For some life may be beautiful, for some it may be fruitful, for some it may be painful, for some it may be needful, for some it may be blissful and for some it may be soulful.
                                     But for us, our life is a continuous search. It triggers us not to stop until we find it. We find it as per the commitment and thirst of our search.That is the secret of life.

                                      Let us keep ourselves FIT to find it.

Please bless them with your divine hands that they may have safe and secure life. Envelope them with your powerful graces that they may ever able to smile.

                                              Hands are the expression of our humbleness. Dear loving Lord, we pray for all the children of our country who are unable to get education. We too remember all  the children who all engaged in less fortunate work. Inspire them to understand the value of their life and create a way for them to lead a liberated life.

Candle:
                                              Candle gives us a new hope. It speaks to us to dispel the darkness from within and give life for others. We pray for all those who spend their lives for the welfare of orphan children. Bless their sacrifice what they make to bring up these children.
