                                            DREAM  COMES TRUE

                       A well known teacher Mrs. Sonam had informed her children in class five that dream comes true day will be celebrated day after tomorrow. All of you prepare well and express your dream through a fancy dress presentation. Try to depict well.  Wish you all the very best. Children too felt very much excited. As their teacher gave them a day for their preparation they reflected on it with the help of their parents.

                       On the day of dream comes true children performed in a marvelous way. One child said, I want to become a doctor. My big dream is to complete medicine and to become a well known doctor.

                      Another child said I want to become an Engineer. I wish to go abroad and complete my studies. Surely my dream will come true.

                      Another child performed I want to become an IAS officer. It is my great desire. I am very much confident and my dream will come true.

                      Another child said I want to become a pilot. I want to fly all over the world. My dreams will come true.

                    From that day onward their teacher started to refer their dream while calling them wishing their dream like Dr.Dev, Engineer Suresh, IAS officer Ravi… Teacher Rita and so on. And she wished them on their birthdays with the greeting of their dreams every year even though they left their school for higher studies. They all wanted to meet their teacher Sonam after 20  years. When they reached Mrs.Sonam’s house, they became stunned to see their teacher in her old age moreover she was not able to recognize them as she lost her sight. But her dealing with them was vibrant. They all went around her house. The entire house was filled with photos of all her students with the quote , dream comes true celebration along with the date and year.

                   Their words were insufficient to express their gratitude. They offered her a cheque with a notice our dreams came true and you are the master of our dreams. Their teacher said, if you want to thank me please open a  center in the name of dream comes true for all the children who have no one to support. 

                   You be the master of their dreams. So that you will be remembered one day as I had been in your life.  Never forget the people who help you to achieve your dream. Be grateful to your teachers for their kind nature of imparting knowledge. Salute them.

                                  MAY YOUR DREAMS COME TRUE

                                                       I  KNOW  THE  WAY

                           We were four friends. We were very supportive and encouraging. Loved to watch movie, play foot ball and visit different places. One day we decided  to  go for a match at night. But I had a mood to watch movie.

                           They were so strong in their decision and I don’t know, that day  I too was adamant in watching movie. I said let me alone proceed today but my friends insisted me to join them. I said it’s fine. Let me go alone and I know the way.

                          While watching movie at night in a theater, I missed the company of my friends and I came out. I started walking , walking and I missed the way. It was so dark and all the shops were closed. I had to catch the bus. I couldn’t trace out the way as I left my mobile at home. I walked further and noticed a man was coming on that way cycling. I stopped him and inquired how to go to bus stand. Bus stop! You are walking in a wrong direction. Where do you do want to go? I said the name of the bus stop. It is time already for the last bus to move. Come with me I will drop you. I was reluctant to get help from him. But I agreed his offer as I had no other option.

                            He asked me, are you sure to catch the last bus? I responded with a great  shock Why so? . The road he proceeded  also was not familiar. I looked at my gold chain and wallet. He turned towards a narrow lane. Where do you work? I replied. We reached in front  of  a house which had a door with a tin sheet. He knocked, one woman around twenty years young opened the door. He whispered something to her and told me to get in. I was so scared and entered in. The rooms inside the house looked like a lane. She walked through and stopped somewhere. And told me to get closer. ………..With so much of hesitation, I went near to her. She opened up another door and peeped through.

                          Hurry up, the last bus is about to start. Don’t delay. I rushed up and reached my home safely.     

                          I always believe that I know the way to bus stop, railway station, super market, holy places and air port. But after that experience I realized I don’t know the way perfectly specially when I’m confused, worried, disturbed and distressed.

                         Believing in our self is always good. But never try to go alone at night if it is avoidable. Try to extend your help when someone is in trouble. Your every help to the needy is a blessing and it will return to you in abundance. Wish you to have a healthy day. God bless.

பெண்கள், பெண் குழந்தைகள் தன்மானம் காக்கும் சுதந்திரம் வேண்டும்.

தியாக சுதந்திரம்:

சமூக ஆர்வலர்கள் , சமூகம் காப்பவர்கள் உழைப்பு உயிர் பெறும் சுதந்திரம் வேண்டும்.

அன்பு சுதந்திரம்:

தனித்து விடப்பட்ட முதியவர்களை பேணி காக்கும் சுதந்திரம் வேண்டும்.

நியாய சுதந்திரம்:

உழைக்கும் மக்களின் வாழ்வு வளம்பெரும் சுதந்திரம் வேண்டும்.

உண்மை சுதந்திரம்:

எழுத்தாளர்கள், ஊடக பணியாளர்கள் உழைப்பு மதிக்கப்பட வேண்டும்.

வெற்றி சுதந்திரம்:

ஏழ்மையும் , வறுமையும் நீங்கி உயிர் வாழும் சுதந்திரம் வேண்டும்.

நேர்மை சுதந்திரம்:

ஊழல் இல்லாத, மனிதம் மதிக்கப்படும் சுதந்திரம் வேண்டும்.

                 ஆக மொத்தம் வேண்டும் சுதந்திரம் மீண்டும்.

                 DON’T  JUDGE  THE  TREE  BY  THE  NAME  IT  WEARS / BEARS   

             If you can see the positive sides of everything, you’ll be able to live a much richer life than others.

            Swarna was so upset . Her son who settled with his family in Chennai didn’t phone her. He used to ring up almost every week. But for the past three months there was no phone call from his side. When she discussed with her relatives and friends they all encouraged her to make a visit. She decided to travel even though she never travelled alone before. She was deeply distressed and worried a lot about her son.

            As she reached his home, her daughter in law greeted and welcomed her. Her son was busy chatting with one of his friends, and smiled at his mother. Her son asked his wife, bring water for him. She replied immediately you please go and get it. His mother was stunned. Again he asked for it. She replied very rudely, you please go and get it. His friend also kept quiet. Her son got up slowly and went into the kitchen. Wife went inside her room.

          As her son and friend were busy discussing, Swarna thought, this is not the right time to interfere. Let me wait patiently. During lunch hour, Swarna was so upset again. She didn’t utter a word even. In the evening, her daughter in law served tea to all except her husband. It was really shocking. He asked her to bring tea. His wife told him to go and get it. He asked again. She replied very rudely, you please help yourself. He requested again but she insisted him to help himself. As he got up to get his tea  his wife went inside her room. Swarna  was boiling within but couldn’t express in front of her son.

        On the next day her son left to his office along with his friend. Swarna yelled like anything to her daughter in law, saying that he is my only child. We never allowed him to do any work. We showed him so much of love and affection. Her daughter in law cried very bitterly. Swarna  couldn’t  believe her eyes. She sat silently. Her daughter in law kept on crying and started speaking with tears in her eyes, your son met with a severe accident. It was a great tragedy. He strived for life. He was discharged after a month. Now he is under medication. The only solution to come out of this ailment is to do physical exercise. But he is very reluctant to do. Therefore I had decided to be strict in dealing with him. Through this lot of improvement is there and doctors too advised to continue. Whenever I behave rudely, I too feel unhappy within  and I have no other way. So I immediately get into my room and cry. Tears were rolling from Swarna’s  eyes.

            Let us not judge the tree by the name it wears. If you wish to do so, judge by the fruits it bears. People have right reason for their behavior and we can understand if we have little love towards them.

                                              Mano and Rino got job in the same company which is renowned for its name and service. Both of them were very hard working and reliable in their job. They started to work very happily.  It was their dream indeed. As their life went on happily Mano got promotion in the same company. It was really overwhelming and Mano became extremely glad. His friend Rino couldn’t bear.

                                            Even though the M.D of their company had a good rapport with both of them,  Rino started to build an ill feeling towards him as well. Rino thought M.D was in favour of Mano.

                                               With all his tensions and worries Rino expected that he would be also promoted by his M.D.  But it did not happen. So Rino decided to resign. Some of his friends advised him not to take any decision when his mood was upset, but Rino was not ready to listen. He went to the cabin of M.D and handed over  his resignation letter. M.D said Rino at last you are here with your resignation letter. Have you got half an hour to learn about life? Tell me sir. Will you please visit the neighboring whole sale shop with whom we made a business last year and find out the rate of almonds. Yes sir.

                                               He responded, proceeded and returned back after 10 minutes  with the reply. Now M.D said good. What about dates? Sir, let me find out. Give me five minutes. He returned back and replied. Now M.D said please wait and watch. He called Mano,  Mano, would you please find out the rate of almonds from the wholesale shop with whom we had a contract. Yes, Sir I will let you know after half an hour.

                                               Mano returned back and gave a detailed report about the rate of every item and all other items available in the shop. He continued about the income and the detailed study about discount  thoroughly.  Sir, we will have no inconvenience if we will have contract with them as we know them very well specially Mr.Vinod.  Sir, if you wish I will mail you in detail after ten minutes. Thank you very much for your detailed report.  You may go now, said M.D. Now M.D called Rino, before M.D could speak, Rino said I’ m extremely sorry sir. Please return my resignation letter.

                                             Never blame others but try to learn the things when you are in a new situation.  Never complain about others when they improve in their life. Be calm before you take any decision. Be friendly with your colleague. Be prompt in every action. Shall we also follow the simple tips given by Rino’s M.D?      

                       LEARN TO UNLEARN AND UNLEARN TO LEARN.

                                                     ADVENTUROUS SEEDS

                           There was a land owner who owned a very big land. It was around 5 acres. He tilled the land very well. He kept the land very fitting for sowing. He prepared the land thoroughly with good manure. He took care of the entire land with so much of love, care and affection. It was his life and everything for him.

                              There was no partiality in preparing the land. He was quite satisfied with the preparation. He  went  with  an uncomparable excitement to buy seeds. With much effort he sowed the seeds all around. He waited very patiently with so much of expectation.

                            All the seeds under the earth had a discussion. Each one expressed   various opinions. One seed said, we shall do one thing. Some of us can go out to the world I mean above the soil, and study the situations and come back. Then we may decide about what should be done further. They all agreed. Four of them came forward to study the situations.

                           When they returned back, others were too excited to know their experience. One seed said, the outside world is really fantastic. Full of light, pleasant climate and I think, better we may proceed there as early as possible.

                            The other seed said, I feel the outside world is quiet tough to live. Rain poured unexpectedly and it was so horrible. Better to be here comfortably.

                            The other seed said, I believe that we will have successful life if we live in the outside world.  Because , people are so kind and compassionate. They love to take care of us. You know, they have great passion for agriculture. We will have a healthy life.

                            The last one expressed, no, no it is very dangerous to be outside. I saw some of them were struggling to withstand in adverse climate. I overheard   that they had no immunity power. Why should we go and struggle over there? Let’s be here. It is safe  and  secure .

                            Finally the seeds were divided into groups according to their interests and desires.

                           One group of seeds were stagnant. They were sitting deep under the soil not liking to come out. They had lot of fear to face sunlight, mingle with soil and consume water sufficiently. They never tried of giving up their weaknesses so called fear of facing challenges.

                          The other group peeped through the soil now and then. They were just roaming on the top layer of the ground. They were so scared to look at other saplings, birds, animals and human beings. They assumed that they were their enemies , they were encouraged by the other group  to come up by  using different methods. But they couldn’t succeed.   

                         The other group of seeds started growing and became so worried when there was heavy wind. They simply gave up when they met heavy rain. They didn’t even try to withstand in the hot sun. They became tired easily.

                        Some of the seeds grew up very happily. They became so close with the soil. They had regular contact with sunlight. They were filled with water whenever they were in need of. They thanked all of them with so much of gratitude. As they faced all the experiences with courage and strength thereby they became so strong. They came forward to seek advice. They were very receptive in accepting all sorts of climate, various challenges and difficult situations.

                         They gave their best. They made use of every opportunity as the ladder of success. They became the model and example for all the seeds. The owner too became so thankful. He enjoyed the harvest. It was the outcome of those seeds who  were so obliged and responsible.

                        Let those responsible, receptive and reinforcing seeds be our inspiration. Let the friendship nature of the seeds be our lesson. Let the learning experience of those seeds be our motive force. Let the humble nature of the seeds become our lifestyle.
