*1. Meditation on the Annunciation by Archangel Gabriel to Mother Mary,*
In today's first reading, St. Paul says, _"Grace has been given to each one of us according to the measure of Christ's gift."_
Let us offer this first decade that we may use the gift God has given to each one of us in the right way to build up the Body which is the Church.
*2. Meditation on Mother Mary visiting Elizabeth,*
In today's Gospel reading, our Lord Jesus says, _"What about those eighteen who were killed when the tower of Siloam fell on them — do you think they were more guilty than all the others living in Jerusalem? I tell you, no!"_
Let us offer this second decade to realize that a person's untimely death or death due to illness is not a measure of their worldly sin.
*3. Meditation on the Birth of Baby Jesus,*
Let us offer this third decade to learn the virtue of patience from today's saint, Archbishop St. Anthony Mary Claret, who patiently endured sufferings for the Church and died on his way to the First Vatican Council.
*4. Meditation on Baby Jesus being presented in the Temple,*
Let us offer this fourth decade to prepare ourselves to fully participate in tomorrow's Sunday Mass and to be worthy to receive the Holy Body of the Lord.
*5. Meditation on finding the lost Child Jesus in the Temple,*
Let us offer this fifth decade in thanksgiving to our God who has protected and guided us throughout this week.
_Amen._
