Let us offer this first decade praying that the Lord may fill us with His blessings in this new month of October.
*2. Jesus changing water into wine at the Wedding at Cana.*
The Catholic Church celebrates October as the Month of the Rosary. October is the month dedicated to Our Lady of the Rosary. Let us pray the Rosary, given by Our Mother to defeat the evil one, throughout this entire month. Let us make a resolution to pray at least four Rosaries daily and offer this second decade for that intention.
*3. Jesus proclaiming the Kingdom of God.*
St. Thérèse of Lisieux, whose feast is today, said, _"I wanted to find an elevator to take me to Jesus. I discovered that the arms of Jesus lifting up little me are that elevator."_ Let us offer this third decade that we may also imitate in our lives the humility the Saint lived and cling firmly to the hands of God.
*4. The Transfiguration of Jesus on Mount Tabor.*
In today's Gospel, our Lord Jesus says, _"The harvest is abundant but the laborers are few; so ask the master of the harvest to send out laborers for his harvest."_
Let us offer this fourth decade that we may willingly offer our children from our families for the priesthood and for God's service.
*5. Jesus instituting the Holy Eucharist at the Last Supper.*
In today's Gospel, Jesus says, _"Whatever house you enter, first say, 'Peace to this house!' If a peace-loving person is there, your peace will rest on him; if not, it will return to you."_
Let us offer this fifth decade for peace and harmony to reign in all families.
