Psalm 90

You turn human beings back to dust;

you say, “Return, you mortals!”

For a thousand years in your sight

are like yesterday that has passed,

or like a watch in the night.

Prayer:

Lord, teach us to number our days,

that we may gain a heart of wisdom.

Help us to live each day with gratitude,

to value the time you have given us,

and to use our lives for your glory.

Lord, fill us with your mercy in the morning,

so that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.

May your favour rest upon us,

and establish the work of our hands.
