The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters. He restores my soul. He guides me along the right paths for His name's sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. *Prayer*
O You who take away our shroud of sorrow! O You who prepare a rich feast for us! O You who will come to destroy death forever from among us! This morning, together with all creation that You have made, we praise You. We glorify You. We adore You. We thank You.
O Lord, bless this day of rest You have given us today! Create a suitable atmosphere for us to listen attentively to Your Word in today's Holy Mass, to meditate on it, and to live according to it.
Bless us that we may participate wholeheartedly and fully in today's Mass, and that Your words may bring about a good transformation within us.
O Jesus! Grant good physical and spiritual health to all Christians who receive Your Holy Body in Mass today.
O Jesus! Grant us the grace to fully believe that we can do all things through You who strengthens us.
O Lord, in this new week that has begun, bless us to live according to Your values, to clothe ourselves with You, and to shine like You.
O Lord, grant us the grace to spend this day of rest in a manner pleasing to You, and to be instruments of love sharing Your love!
Jesus, Mary, Joseph, I entrust my heart and my soul to You.
