MORNING PRAYER

***MORNING PRAYER*** Dear Lord, answer me; your steadfast love is great; look on me with favor. Do not hide your face from me; I am in distress, answer me quickly. Come near and rescue me; redeem me from my enemies. You know my shame, my disgrace, and my humiliation; my adversaries are all before you. Insults have broken my heart, and I am in despair; I looked for sympathy, but there was none; for comforters, but I found none. God of mercy, bless me as I speak with you this morning. Console me with your boundless love; your feet are my throne, your word is my breath. Your mercy is immense, beyond measure; pour your compassion on me, and let me drown in your ocean of kindness. When I stray from your love, darkness falls; when I turn away from your gaze, suffering ensues. Lord, remember me and look upon me with kindness. Father, you know the trials your children face; you are our sole protector. Without you, I couldn't live a single moment; have mercy on us. Beloved, embodiment of love, my God, be with me daily, guiding and protecting me in every situation. Thank you, Lord. Jesus, Mary, Joseph, I entrust my heart and soul to you. Amen. ¹
