Morning prayer

***Morning prayer*** God of creation, how great you are! You are the Creator of the universe and all therein. You are the Giver and Sustainer of all life, and only you are worthy to be praised. Many, however, live in conditions that make it difficult and impossible to enjoy the beauty of your creation. Help me to be sensitive and responsive to their needs and may their prayers reach the throne room of grace. Have your way with me, most high God, and help me to experience your creation in new and profound ways. May these experiences teach me of your abiding presence and sustainment in my life. May I enter this day with a renewed heart, a right spirit and may your Spirit touch my mouth that no profane words may come from my lips. In your name I pray: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
