Morning prayer

***                                                                          Morning prayer*** Creator God, you have caused the sun to rise once again. What a beautiful reminder of new birth and resurrection! I praise you for the new light you bring to the world each day. I know that each day you will reveal yourself in a new sunrise. I have yet to find a morning where the sun refuses to rise or an evening without a sunset in the west. Thank you for giving me some things that are certain for it helps me in those moments of uncertainty to know that my hope is built on something more than the shifting sand of this world. Today, O God, I pray for the gift of your presence, please make yourself visible to me and those who need to know the assurance of your presence. Help us to see your light break through in life’s most mundane moments, through the challenges and opportunities of this day that I may respond in a way that brings glory and honor to you. In the matchless name of God I pray.
