Morning prayer

***                                                                             Morning prayer*** Eternal One, as I wake to the dawning of this day , I know you surround me with your love and protection. You have forgiven all my shortcomings and for that, I rejoice. As I journey my life of faith, no matter what challenges may come my way, help me to remember that your grace is sufficient for me and your tender mercy is new every morning. As I lift my voice to you in prayer, help me to rest in the assurance that you hear me. Thank you, God for being ever present in my life. Help me to guard my heart and enlighten the eyes of my understanding that I may serve you better. May my earnest desire this day be to live my life in a manner that glorifies you. My hope is in you this day: help me to follow your will.
