The heavens declare the glory of God; the firmament proclaims the work of His hands.
Day after day it pours forth speech; night after night it reveals knowledge. It has no speech, no words; its voice is not heard. Yet its proclamation goes out through all the earth; its message to the ends of the world. In the heavens He has pitched a tent for the sun.

_Prayer_
Abba, Father! O our heavenly Father, full of love, compassion and mercy! In the early morning of this new day we worship You. We praise You. We adore You. We thank You.
Grant us grace this day that we may not depart from Your law.
O Jesus! Before choosing Your twelve disciples, You spent the whole night in prayer! Grant us as a gift the wisdom to pray before the important works we do in our lives henceforth, and to know Your holy will. We repent and ask forgiveness for the many works we have started until now without prayer. In those works, mostly our own self-will prevailed without Your will, and hence there was much confusion, obstacles, and humiliation in them.
O our dear Jesus!, from now on, let all that happens in our life be Your will. Not our will.
O Lord, we begin this new day in Your name. Protect and guide us with the help of the Holy Spirit. Grant us the grace to remain as Your children until our last breath, ever abiding in Your love.
Jesus, Mary, Joseph, I entrust my heart and my soul to You.
