Morning prayer

***                                                                            Morning prayer*** Father, what joy it is to awake to a new day of liberty in you! Thank you for the refreshment of the night. Help me to face the day with purpose and with confidence in your Holy Spirit’s ever-freeing and ever-living power. Thank you for the path you have placed before me this day. Thank you, also, for the gifts of your Holy Spirit, which operate in me and keep me from being dominated by my fears. You are the God of power and love, and I have received your power by adoption into your family. Help me to always remember that I am an heir to greatness and not mediocrity! Give me clarity of focus and singleness heart today that I may be completely be centered on you and your will. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
